The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the results of the September 2016 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in both elementary and secondary levels. Out of 77,466 examinees who took the LET (Elementary Level), 23,378 (30.18%) passed. The examination was given in 25 key cities in the Philippines, as well as in Hong Kong. The results for both the elementary and secondary levels were released by the PRC in 48 working days after the board examination’s last day.
The board examination is conducted by the Board of Professional Teachers headed by Dr. Rosita L. Navarro at PRC testing sites throughout the country, particularly in Manila, Antique, Bacolod, Baguio City, Catarman, Cebu City, Davao City, General Santos City, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Marinduque, Masbate, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Rosales, Pangasinan, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Pagadian and Zamboanga City.
LET is currently the examination being administered by the PRC with the most numbers of examinees. The examination for both Elementary and Secondary levels are given twice every year.
